Police are appealing for footage following a jet ski crash and altercation in Geelong this afternoon.
A man and woman were riding a jet ski that crashed into the sand near the swimming area at Eastern Beach about 2.15pm.
Both sustained minor injuries that did not require treatment.
It's believed a physical altercation then occurred between the male rider and bystanders.
No one was injured during the altercation.
Police are investigating whether speed was factor in the jet ski collision.
As the weather warms up and more people descend on Victoria's beaches, jet ski riders are urged to ensure they follow speed restrictions around swimming areas.
Any witnesses or anyone with footage of the crash and following altercation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or anonymously at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
