Appeal after reported child approach at Orange 7 December

Investigators are appealing for information after reports of a child approach in Orange last week.

Police have been told about 8.30am on Thursday 2 December 2021, a 10-year-old girl was walking along Park Street, Orange, when she was approached by an unknown man.

The man grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards the road before she was able to break free from him and run away.

Officers from Central West Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

As investigations continue, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 20-30, tall with wavy brown hair. He was wearing a black beanie, black pants and a black t-shirt at the time.
