Appeal for assistance to locate missing teen - Gladesville

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teen missing from Sydney's north west.

Ash Lightowler, aged 16, was last seen in Short Street, Gladesville, about 11pm yesterday (Tuesday 17 January 2023).

When Ash could not be located, officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Ash's welfare and a search is continuing in the Gladesville area with the assistance of specialist resources.

Ash is described as Caucasian appearance, medium build, about 155cm tall, and last seen wearing a black shirt, long black pants, black sneakers and black glasses.

Ash is known to frequent the Gladesville and Sydney CBD areas.
