Appeal for assistance – woundingin Richlands

Detectives from Acacia Ridge Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating a serious assault that occurred at Archerfield Road Richlands, earlier this afternoon.

Preliminary investigations indicate around 2.50pm an altercation has occurred between two groups of African men in the carpark of a shopping complex.

During the altercation one man has produced a knife, resulting in an 18-year-old male victim receiving a significant laceration to his left upper arm.

A group of four African men were seen leaving the area on foot, whilst the victim left the area in a vehicle with another man.

Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or for any motorists who were in the vicinity of 511 Archerfield Road between 2.45pm and 3pm this afternoon and who has dash cam footage to contact them.
