Appeal for dashcam footage after crash - Doyles River

Police are appealing for dashcam vision following a two-vehicle crash on the states Mid North Coast.

About 11.20am yesterday (Sunday 29 October 2023), emergency services were called to the Oxley Highway, Doyles River, about 90km west of Wauchope, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Officers attached to the Mid North Coast Police District attended and found a Honda motorcycle and a Nissan ute towing a trailer had collided.

The rider of the motorcycle – a 48-year-old man – was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the Nissan – a 39-year-old man – was uninjured. He was taken to Walcha Hospital for mandatory testing.

Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
