Appeal for missing teen - Canley Vale

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's west.

Abdel Mahrousseh – aged 16 – was last seen leaving at Canley Vale Road, Canley Vale, on Friday 10 December 2021.

He was reported missing to officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Abdel's welfare due to his age.

Abdel is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, about 165cm tall, of large build, with short brown hair and unshaven.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded-jumper and grey track pants with a white Nike logo.

Initial inquiries suggest Abdel may be travelling on public transport and is known to frequent the Mt Druitt, Cumberland and Liverpool areas.

Anyone who has information about Abdel's whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
