Appeal for missing youth from Sydney's south-west

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teen missing from Sydney's southwest.

Arahia Peters, aged 12, was last seen at a home in Bankstown, about 5.30pm yesterday (Monday 7 November 2022).

When she failed to return home, officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for Arahia due to her age.

Arahia is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, about 155cm to 160cm tall, of medium build, has brown hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent the Bankstown and Maroubra areas.

Anyone with information regarding Arahia's whereabouts is urged to contact Campsie Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
