Police are appealing for information from the pubic following the theft of a vehicle in Kingaroy yesterday afternoon, 10 June.
Initial investigations indicate around 5.45pm a man and a woman aged in their 70's were entering their parked 2015 Holden Captiva on Glendon Street when they were approached by two teenage boys.
One of the boys verbally threatened the man before a second boy approached the passenger side of the vehicle and produced a knife before forcibly removing the woman from the car.
The two boys then drove off from the scene.
The woman received minor injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment. The man was not physically injured.
The stolen Holden Captiva was subsequently located in Cherbourg around 11pm last night, 10 June.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have relevant information to contact police.
Investigations remain ongoing.
