Appeal to help locate woman missing from Penrith

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's west.

Sharon Mumbler, aged 49, was last seen at her home on Kareela Avenue, Penrith, about 1pm yesterday (Wednesday 29 June 2022).

When she could not be located, officers from Nepean Police Area Command were notified and immediately commenced inquiries to locate her.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Sharon's welfare as she has limited mobility due to a medical condition. She also walks with a prominent limp.

Sharon is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, of thin build, about 150cm tall, with long brown hair.

It is not known what she was last seen wearing.

Sharon is known to frequent the Penrith and Kingswood Park areas.
