Investigators have released images of a vehicle as they investigate a crash in Sydney's south-west yesterday.
About 3.20pm (Monday 25 May 2026), emergency services responded to reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car in the westbound lanes of Milperra Road, Revesby, between Edgar Street and Mons Road.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 12-year-old boy at the scene before he was taken to Sydney Children's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command established a crime scene where officers from the Crash Investigation Unit (CIU) were contacted to attend.
Police have been told the rear passenger side of a ute hit the boy before driving from the scene.
It is believed that the driver may have been unaware of the incident.
As investigations continue, police have released images of a vehicle described as an orange/gold-coloured Nissan Navara with hard-top canopy, silver bulbar, and black wheel hubs and are urging the driver to come forward.
