Taskforce Falcon detectives are appealing for public assistance to locate two men who may be able to assist investigations after an alleged assault.
About 8am on Tuesday 24 June 2025, emergency services were called to Eve Street, Guildford, following reports of a stabbing.
Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command arrived to find a 62-year-old man had been stabbed in the leg after being approached by a group of unknown people who then left the scene in a SUV.
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Police established a crime scene and an investigation into the incident has commenced.
Three people, aged 15, 18, and 22 were arrested and charged in relation to this incident.
The 15-year-old boy was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault person intend criminal activity of criminal group.
His bail was refused to reappear at a children's court Friday 3 October 2025.
The 18-year-old man was charged with three counts of wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 22-year-old man was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault person intend criminal activity of criminal group.
Both were granted conditional bail to reappear before Parramatta Local Court on Thursday 23 October 2025.
Following inquiries, detectives are hoping to speak with two men who may be able to assist with further investigations.
One man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, with a thin build and black hair. He has a tattoo on his right arm.
The other man is described as Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, with a large build and shoulder-length black hair. He also has a tattoo on his right arm.
