Appeal to locate missing man at Blacktown

Police are appealing for public assistance to urgently help locate a man missing from Blacktown.

Franjo Biskup, aged 79, has not been seen since about 1.20pm today (Friday 30 August 2019), when he left his nursing home on Stephen Street, Blacktown.

He was last seen walking in a southerly direction towards the Blacktown CBD and railway line.

Police and family hold fears for his welfare as he suffers from dementia and has an existing heart condition.

Franjo is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approx. 175-185cm tall, balding with white hair and solid build. He is reported to speak very limited English, with Croatian as his primary language.

He was last seen wearing dark blue pants, a dark blue jumper, with a black jacket over the top, a light grey cap and was carrying a dark coloured duffle bag.
