Armed robbery appeal, Labrador

Police are seeking public assistance following an armed robbery in Labrador overnight, Saturday April 29.

Initial investigations indicate shortly before 5.30pm, two men have entered a Frank Street bottle shop and threatened a shop assistant.

One of the men, armed with a knife, stole a sum of cash before the pair left the scene on foot along Brett Street.

No one was physically injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses, including anyone in the store at the time or anyone with relevant vision, to come forward.

One of the men was wearing a white hooded jumper with stripes, a black cap with a white facemask and dark blue pants.

The second man was wearing a white cap and facemask, a black hooded jumper, light blue shorts and thongs.

Investigations are continuing.
