Armed robbery at Browns Plains, QLD

Police have released vision of two men who may be able to assist with their investigation of a robbery at Browns Plains on July 30, Queensland Police say.

Around 11.30pm a man was standing next to his vehicle in the carpark of take away restaurant on Browns Plains Road. He was approached by two men who threatened him with a knife and demanded the keys for his vehicle before punching him in the head.

The man went into the restaurant for assistance and the men fled the area on foot.

One man is described as Caucasian, very short brown hair with a rats-tail, early-twenties, wearing an orange shirt with black sleeves, black shorts, joggers and carrying a bum bag.

The second man is described as Caucasian, scruffy brown hair, early-twenties, wearing a grey jumper, dark coloured pants, barefoot and carrying a bum bag and pair of shoes over his shoulders.

The 36-year-old victim sustained bruising to the head.

Anyone who recognises the men or has further information is urged to contact police.
