Armed robbery charges at Bald Hills, QLD

Police have charged a man and a girl following an alleged armed robbery at Bald Hills on July 29, Queensland Police say.

It is alleged at about 9.30pm, three males and a female approached a man at Bracken Ridge and asked him to drive them to Pelleas Street, Bracken Ridge where they removed a quantity of property from a car at that location.

If is further alleged the man then drove the three males and the female to a carpark in Miles Street Bald Hills.

It is alleged at Miles Street, one of the males produced a knife and demanded the man’s car keys and car.

The man handed over his car keys and wallet where it is alleged the males and the female then fled the scene in the man’s car.

On August 1, police arrested and charged a man and a girl in relation to this matter.

A 24-year-old Woodridge man is charged with one count each of armed robbery in company and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

A 17-year-old girl is charged with one count each of armed robbery in company and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The man will appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on August 2.

Investigations are continuing.
