Armed robbery in Turramurra

Police are investigating an armed robbery in Sydney’s north west, NSW Police say.

At Midnight (Friday 21 September 2018), police were called to a pizza store on Rohini Street, Turramurra, after staff were threatened by a man with a knife.

The man took an amount of cash from the till before fleeing the scene on foot.

No staff were injured.

A crime scene was established which was examined by forensic specialists.

The man has been described as Caucasian, about 20 years old, slim build, and 185-190cm tall. He was wearing a balaclava.

Detectives from Kuring-Gai Police District are conducting inquires into the incident.
