Mandurah Detectives have arrested a 23 year old man from Greenfields as a result of their investigation into an armed robbery series that occurred between Monday 27 March and Thursday 30 March 2017.
It will be alleged at about midday on Monday 27 March, the man entered a retail store on the corner of Pinjarra Road and Lakes Road. He stole numerous electrical items and exited the store., WA Police say
A staff member followed the man and requested he return and pay for the items. The man became aggressive and threatened the staff member before riding off on a bicycle with the items.
It is further alleged approximately an hour later, the same man entered a nearby retail store, selecting numerous electronic items and exiting the store. A staff member approached the man and he became aggressive and threatened the staff member before riding off.
It is also alleged on Thursday 30 March, the man entered a retail store he had previously attended and when staff recognised him, he threatened them with a knife.
The man has been charged with three counts of Armed Robbery and is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 15 April 2017.
