Arrest after Lockridge Incident, WA

Child Abuse Squad detectives have charged a 39 year old man as a result of an incident in Lockridge on Tuesday 27 December 2016.

About 9:20am, Regional Investigations Unit officers conducting patrols sighted a vehicle parked at Rosher Park. They located the man and a 15 year old girl in the back seat of the vehicle. , WA Police say

It will be alleged during a search of the vehicle police located condoms and a mobile phone containing conversations of a sexual nature with girls under 16 years of age.

Child Abuse Squad detectives took carriage of the investigation and detectives executed a search warrant at the man’s Lockridge home where they seized a computer.

The man was charged with Using Electronic Communication to Expose a Child under 16 years to Indecent Matter and is due to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court later this month.
