Arrest following warrants in Melbourne's south

Police have executed four warrants and arrested four people in Melbourne’s southern suburbs this morning following an investigation into an affray in Dandenong last week, Victoria Police say.

Echo Task Force members, with assistance from Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives, executed the warrants in Dandenong South, Endeavour Hills, Beaconsfield and Lyndhurst about 6am.

A quantity of drugs and clothing were seized at an address in England Street, Dandenong South where a 33-year-old man was arrested.

The man, of no fixed place of abode, is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

A second warrant was executed at a property on Manley Close, Endeavour Hills where a quantity of drugs was located.

A 20-year-old Endeavour Hills woman and a 54-year-old Endeavour Hills man were arrested at the scene.

A third warrant was executed in Fieldstone Boulevard, Beaconsfield with assistance from of the Special Operations Group (SOG).

A 24-year-old Beaconsfield man returned to the address and was taken into custody.

A fourth warrant was executed at a property on Demmie Mews, Lyndhurst.

No arrests were made at this address.

The investigation remains ongoing and no charges have been laid at this stage.
