Arrest for Burglary and Stealing incidents, WA

Fremantle Detectives have arrested three people following their investigation into several burglary incidents across the South Metropolitan District and a stolen vehicle.

It will be alleged the offenders stole a Subaru station wagon during a burglary at a home in Manning between 8 and 9 June 2017. The vehicle was involved in a series of burglaries, including one where a security guard was struck by the vehicle., WA Police say

At around 9pm on Saturday 10 June 2017, officers sighted the vehicle travelling on North Lake Road in Cockburn Central. It is alleged the driver failed to stop and evaded police.

The stolen vehicle collided with another car at the intersection of Kwinana Freeway and Beeliar Drive. The driver of the Mazda was not injured and police apprehended the occupants of the Subaru.

An 18 year old man from Thornlie has been charged with:-

•Steal Motor Vehicle and Drive Recklessly;

•NATD (Never Held);

•Exceed zero BAC;

•Fail to Stop;

•Reckless Driving to Evade Pursuit; and

•Fail to Stop at Accident.

A 19 year old man from South Lake has been charged with:-

•Four counts of Aggravated Burglary and Commit;

•Four counts of Stealing; and

•Steal Motor Vehicle.

They are both due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court today, 12 June 2017.

A 13 year old boy from Lynwood is due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court on 21 June 2017, charged with three counts of Aggravated Burglary and Commit and three counts of Stealing.
