Arrest over 2011 armed robbery – Boronia Heights

Detectives from the Logan District Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) Robbery Task Force have charged a man over the armed robbery of a service station at Boronia Heights in 2011. , Queensland Police say

It is alleged around 2.20am on September 20, 2011 two men, one armed with a knife, entered the Middle Road business and made demands for money.

During the robbery it is alleged money and cigarettes were stolen.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The 33-year-old man from Wellington Point has been charged with armed robbery. He is due to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court on April 18, 2018.
