Detectives from the Rockhampton Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged two children following investigations into an alleged arson in North Rockhampton on Saturday afternoon, October 13, Queensland Police say.
It will be alleged at around 1pm a storage shed at a sports facility at Birdwood Park was set alight causing significant damage to the building and contents.
A 12-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy were both charged with one count each of arson and trespass.
