Toowoomba landscape artist Rob Raymond will soon unveil a new body of work, Views from my Studio, at the Rosalie Art Gallery in Goombungee.
The exhibition will be on display from May 3 to 28, 2023.
The works in Views from my Studio examine much-loved and well-known Toowoomba and Darling Downs landscapes through drawing and painting.
Rather than aiming for photographic realism, this is an emotional response to the light and structure of our unique local flora.
"All the works are completed in my studio and taken from drawings based on the escarpment around Silver Ridge and Middle Ridge, as seen from the studio," Rob said.
