ARU Peterborough and Posh extend partnership

Peterborough United Women shirt sponsorship

Sponsorship of Peterborough United Women shirts will continue for further two years

ARU Peterborough is delighted to announce it will continue as official sleeve sponsor of Peterborough United Women.

Peterborough's new university has signed a deal for a further two years ahead of the 2023/24 FA Women's National League campaign.

Last season saw Posh Women finish fourth in the league, reach the third round of the FA Cup, and win the Northants FA County Cup.

Jamie Jones, Vice Principal of ARU Peterborough, is delighted to continue the partnership with the club. He said:

"Following on from our first season as sponsors, we are thrilled to be working with the Posh Women's team for a further two years.

"It has been wonderful to see the team grow and develop, just as ARU Peterborough has over the past year. We look forward to the continued growth of our partnership, the team and the university, and remain committed to supporting the local community in everything we do."

Posh Women General Manager Bobby Copping said:

"We are delighted that ARU Peterborough has decided to stay on board as our sleeve sponsor for the next two years following a positive partnership last season.

"The new university has been an exciting development for the city and we're looking forward to continuing to build this relationship, encouraging some of the students to come down, support the team and get involved with the club."

ARU Peterborough is a brand-new university being purpose-built for the region, and it welcomed its first students in September 2022.

The university is working with regional businesses to co-create an exciting range of degrees, degree apprenticeships, and training and development courses, ensuring that ARU Peterborough delivers the skills needed by employers.

Being developed in partnership with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority and Peterborough City Council, ARU Peterborough has a mission to raise educational attainment in the region and in turn support business growth and the personal aspirations of the community.
