We are pleased to welcome the community to experience the revitalised Ashburton Seniors Centre at our open day on Thursday 15 July at 10.30am.
There are many activities on offer at the centre including:
- an art exhibition
- a cooking demonstration in the outdoor kitchen
- the inaugural Samarinda Table Tennis competition.
We are committed to healthy ageing in Boroondara. Close to $7 million was spent redeveloping the centre into a more modern and accessible place for older adults.
We thank the Australian Government for its contribution of $10,000 to the outdoor courtyard part of the project through the Stronger Communities Grant fund.
