Ashurst Grows Disputes & Investigations Offering With London Partner Hire

Global law firm Ashurst announces the appointment of commercial litigation practitioner Harriet Jones-Fenleigh as partner in the Disputes & Investigations practice, based in London, as the firm continues to invest in its Disputes capabilities.

Harriet focuses on complex commercial and financial disputes. She has over 17 years' experience acting for clients in a wide range of high-stakes litigation and arbitration matters, including multi-billion-pound finance litigation in the UK Supreme Court, group litigation, cross-border corporate and commercial disputes across a variety of sectors, and civil fraud and asset tracing.

Jon Gale, Head of Ashurst's UK Dispute Resolution practice, said: "We are excited to welcome Harriet to the team and look forward to working together. Her appointment positions us to meet rising client demand and capitalise on emerging opportunities, adding a well-timed boost to both our commercial litigation platform and our contentious financial services offering."

"I am pleased to welcome Harriet to our growing Disputes & Investigations team," said Tom Connor, Global Head of Disputes, Investigations & Advisory at Ashurst, noting that her arrival follows that of London employment partner Dan Ornstein, underscoring Ashurst's continued strategic growth of the global Disputes & Investigations team. "Harriet's extensive experience across commercial and banking disputes enhances our existing capabilities, allowing us to continue to drive value for our clients."

Harriet said: "Joining Ashurst marks an exciting new chapter. The firm's standing in the global disputes market and its deep-rooted relationships with premier financial institutions and corporate clients offer a compelling foundation to continue my practice. I look forward to joining the dynamic and growing team and helping Ashurst's clients resolve their most strategically important disputes."
