Global law firm Ashurst advised Shenzhen Senior Technology Material Co., Ltd. as US and EU tariffs legal adviser in connection with its successful H-share listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (SEHK: 6067).

Shenzhen Senior Technology Material Co., Ltd. primarily engages in the research and development, production and sale of lithium-ion battery separators. The company has capabilities in all three types of lithium-ion battery separator production technologies, namely dry process, wet process and coated process separators. Founded in 2003, it has developed into one of the leading lithium-ion battery separator manufacturers internationally, with production capacity expected to reach 16 billion square metres in 2027. Its products are used across a broad range of sectors, including electric vehicles, consumer electronics, battery energy storage systems and the aerospace industry.

Ashurst provided regulatory advice on the potential impact of US and EU tariffs on the company's business in light of evolving geopolitical risks.

The transaction highlights the firm's capability in delivering complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory advice on Hong Kong capital markets transactions.
