Ashurst, Perkins Coie Advise on Blackhillock Sale

Global law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie has advised Global Infrastructure Partners, a part of BlackRock, on the sale of the Blackhillock Synchronous Condenser to a fund managed by Foresight Group.

The Blackhillock Synchronous Condenser facility in Scotland, helps to maintain and stabilise the UK grid network as part of the UK's focus on a zero-carbon electricity grid.

The Ashurst Perkins Coie team was led by partner Dallan Pitman, supported by associates Yasmin Dugdale and Ellie Wilson, with partner Nicholas Hilder, counsel Justyna Bremen, and associate Lucinda Merrett advising on the projects, energy, and real estate aspects. Tax advice was provided by partners Mark Spinney and Tim Gummer.
