Assault Appeal At Morayfield 3 June

Police investigating an assault in Morayfield earlier this year have released images of a man they believe can assist with the investigation.

Inquiries indicate at approximately 12.25pm on 3 January, a man went to move a trolley at a shopping centre on Morayfield Road when he was approached by a woman advising him she was using that trolley.

A physical altercation ensued where the man has pushed the trolley into the woman, causing her to hit her head on a window before falling to the ground. The trolley then fell on top of the woman.

A 78-year-old Banksia Beach woman was taken to hospital with hip and lower leg injuries

Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to as part of the investigation.

Anyone who may know the man or who has relevant information is urged to contact police.
