Police are investigating an assault at Wooloowin yesterday which left a man with a serious leg injury.
Initial investigations indicate that the man was walking on Hudson Street shortly before 5.30pm when another man approached him from a dark sedan, discharged a firearm and fled in that vehicle.
The 36-year-old was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police would like to speak to anyone with information about this matter and anyone with relevant dash cam footage, particularly those travelling on Hudson Street between 5.20pm and 5.40pm, from that area at the time to get in touch.
Investigations continue.
