Police have arrested and charged a 21-year-old woman with one count of Aggravated Assault after an incident on Bloomfield Street yesterday.
It is alleged two people were involved in a heated argument in which a 20-year-old man was stabbed in the hip at a Bloomfield Street address around 3:30am on Wednesday, Northern Territory Police say.
Police and Emergency Services attended the scene and the woman became aggressive towards Police, assaulting one officer.
The man remains in a stable condition at the Alice Springs Hospital.
The woman has been charged with one count each of:
Aggravated Assault
Hinder Police
Resist Police
Assault Police
The woman will appear before the Alice Springs Local Court today.
