Police have arrested a man following an assault in Beaudesert overnight.
Around 9pm, an armed man attended an address in Stirling Street and attacked the occupant before fleeing on foot.
The victim sustained injuries to his hand and foot and was transported the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
A man was located a short distance away and taken into custody without incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
