Assault investigation, Annerley – appeal for info

Detectives from Dutton Park police investigating the alleged assault of a woman at Annerley last week have released images and CCTV of a man who may be able to assist with their investigations, Queensland Police say.

Around 10.35pm on Monday, December 10 a 41-year-old Brisbane woman was walking on Ekibin Street when she noticed a man walking behind her.

As the woman attempted to cross Ekibin Street at the intersection with Lothian Street, the man ran past her and then stopped directly in front of her.

It will be alleged the man grabbed the woman in the chest area before fleeing on foot when she screamed. He was last seen running northbound on Lothian Street.

The woman was distressed by the incident and alerted police. Patrols of the area failed to locate the man.

The man is described as Caucasian, aged in his 30s to 40s, with a solid build, short dark hair and was wearing a black singlet with a grey motif on the front, knee length dark shorts and tan work boots. He also had facial hair – short cropped beard and moustache.

The man has a tattoo on his left upper forearm and one on his right rear calf.

Anyone who recognises the man (pictured) or has information in relation to his whereabouts are asked to contact police (details below).
