Assault, Springfield Central

Police are appealing for witnesses and vision following the alleged assault of a bus driver in Springfield Central yesterday afternoon, December 18.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately between 5.10pm and 5.35pm , an altercation took place between a bus driver and a man on Trackstar Drive.

It will be alleged the man approached a bus and started yelling at the driver before banging on the bus.

A 22-year-old has is currently assisting police with inquiries and officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the alleged attack or who may have dashcam footage to contact them.
