Attempted Armed Robbery Appeal, Gulliver

Townsville police have released vision in an appeal for information to help identify a man who attempted to rob a business in Gulliver on 15 August.

Around 7.55pm, the man entered a takeaway shop in Mooney Street and demanded money.

The attendant refused and the man fled the scene.

The attendant was not physically injured during the incident.

The man was wearing a black bicycle helmet, a navy or black long sleeve shirt, black trousers, white shoes and an orange jumper wrapped around the neck and face.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who can identify the man in the vision or was in the vicinity of Mooney Street in Gulliver, between Palmerston Street and McDonald Street between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on 15 August and may have dashcam vision or CCTV vision to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
