Attempted murder at Beaudesert

Police have charged a 19-year-old woman with attempted murder after a 63-year-old woman was stabbed at Beaudesert in the early hours of this morning.

Around 1am today police were called to a house where they located a woman with a stab wound to her torso.

She was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with internal injuries and is undergoing surgery. She is presently in a critical condition.

A 19-year-old woman who is known to the victim was taken into custody at the scene.

She has been charged with attempted murder and is due to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
