Attempted murder charges at Rockhampton

A man has been charged following the alleged stabbing of a woman at Frenchville overnight.

It will be alleged at approximately 7pm at a Constantia Crescent home a man stabbed a woman who is known to him multiple times.

The 38-year-old Frenchville woman was taken to Rockhampton Hospital where she remains in a serious condition.

The 52-year-old Frenchville man has been charged with one count of attempted murder (domestic violence) and will appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court today.
