A woman has been charged following an incident in Cherbourg on Saturday night where a man received serious burns, Queensland Police say.
It will be alleged at around 9pm on Saturday September 10, petrol was poured on an 18-year-old man and it was then ignited with a lighter.
The man sustained severe burns to his head and face and was airlifted to the Toowoomba Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A 17-year-old woman has been charged today with one charge of attempted murder and is due to appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court today.
