In a razor-thin finish – just half a point ahead of Victorian dairy farmer Michael Hiscock on Mewburn Bewick and Queensland's Steve Comiskey on One Knight Stand – Sammon proved her dominance, also claiming the Ladies Silver Cup. While Kimberley has just welcomed baby boy Tommy and may not ride this year, "Scotty" will be back to fly the flag.
