ALERT LEVEL: Watch and Act - There is a heightened level of threat. Conditions are changing and you need to start taking action now to protect you and your family.

WHAT TO DO:

ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:

Weather Situation: Moist airmass and a surface trough generate showers and thunderstorms in parts of the Simpson district, including Alice Springs, this afternoon.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Alice Springs.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Barkly district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.
