Ballina Public Place Shooting: Police Seek Info

Investigators are appealing for information after several shots were allegedly fired into a home at Ballina last night.

About 9.15pm yesterday (Monday 10 April 2023), officers from Richmond Police District were called to a home in Brunswick Street, Ballina, following reports of shots fired.

At the scene, police were told that several shots had allegedly been fired into the front of the property. No one was injured.

Initial inquiries have led police to believe the incident is a case of mistaken identity.

A crime scene was established, and investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
