Ballina's Last Weaving Workshop of the Year at NRCG this December

Weaving Circle V with Jugan Dandii

10 - 11 December 2022

This December local weavers Jugan Dandii return to the Northern Rivers Community Gallery (NRCG) to run their fifth and final workshop in a series of Weaving Circles presented by the gallery throughout the year.

In a relaxing group atmosphere, Bundjalung/Nyangbal woman Tania Marlowe, and local weaver Debra Cole, will guide participants through new weaving techniques, while sharing their stories and knowledge of local natural fibre weaving practices.

December's workshop will focus on the creation of seasonal wreaths with local vines and native flora, as well as random weave or melon baskets – perfect for small gifts or hamper baskets in the lead up to the holiday season.

Bookings are essential via the NRCG website. Attendance to both days are required, with all materials and tools provided.

To book your place visit the NRCG website at nrcgballina.com.au or phone the Gallery on 02 6681 0530.
