A hard-working Bankstown man is dusting off his passport and dreaming of a long-awaited Cambodian adventure after scoring $100,000 in today's Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11106, drawn Thursday 1 October 2026, and takes home a total prize of $100,000.
When we called to confirm the life-enhancing news, the winner confessed he'd ignored the first call, admitting he rarely answers unknown numbers.
"Haha! Thank you!" he laughed.
"I saw the missed call and then I received an email. There are so many scam calls and scam emails these days, so I wanted to check the ticket and confirm the win before calling back.
"It's very good to hear. This is the first time I've won anything like this. It's my biggest prize!
"I've been working very hard, so the first thing I'll do is celebrate with my wife and we'll finally go on a holiday overseas! We haven't travelled overseas since 2019. It's been a long time.
"Cambodia is where we'd love to go!
"Thank you very much!"
His winning entry of one random number was purchased via The Lott app - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
