A man has been arrested following a barricade incident at North Albury today.
About 7am (Wednesday 8 May 2019), police attended a house in Orton Place after receiving information about a man wanted by police for outstanding warrants.
Several occupants left the house; however, the 19-year-old man refused to speak to police and a perimeter was established.
About 1.30pm (Wednesday 8 May 2019), the man surrendered to police and was arrested. He was taken to Albury Police Station where he is currently assisting police with inquiries.
No one was injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
