Baulkham Hills playground gets a new lease on life

Sophia Doyle Reserve is the latest playground to receive an upgrade as part of Council's regular maintenance and renewal program.

Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne said the play equipment had reached its end of usable life and Council used the opportunity to refresh the local Baulkham Hills playground.

"The brand new Sophia Doyle Reserve playground features a fun and exciting play unit, with slide and multiple climbing frames and equipment to keep kids entertained, engaged and challenged as they play," Mayor Byrne said.

"We've also installed sandstone walling, and planted native grass and trees which provide shade and complements the playground's natural bush setting.

"And there's a bubbler with a dog water bowl to keep our residents and their pooches hydrated as they enjoy the Reserve and the surrounding walking trails," Mayor Byrne added.

Sophia Doyle Reserve playground is now located off Hilda Road, in Baulkham Hills.
