Bayside Nursery welcomes you back

Bayside Community Nursey has reopened.

Visitors are welcome to come and shop for indigenous plants from 10am-12pm on Saturdays and Thursdays until 27 November.

Supported by volunteers, the Bayside Community Nursery grows and supplies a wide range of beautiful Bayside Indigenous species for our parks, inland and coastal bushlands, as well as for public sale.

The nursery opened in 1978 to help protect Bayside's biodiversity by growing plants from local seed stock. It also raises awareness and appreciation of Bayside's indigenous flora in public and private landscapes.

The nursery grows and supplies about 100,000 indigenous plants, grasses and trees every year for planting in our parks, inland and coastal bushland reserves. The nursery sells stock to the local golf courses and is open to all members of the public.

Please be aware that capacity restrictions will be in place, subject to current Victorian Government regulations.
