Dinner plans just turned up a notch for a Bellbird Park man who pocketed $200,000 in yesterday's Lucky Lotteries draw thanks to a free ticket.
The Queenslander held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1741, drawn Wednesday 10 December 2025. He looks forward to his $200,000 prize being paid on Christmas Day.
Remarkably, the winning man scored the prize on a free ticket he'd won from an earlier draw.
"Are you joking?! $200,000!" he gasped.
"Wow. This honestly couldn't have some at a better time.
"I've had a series of bad luck recently and I was hoping we would get some good news soon.
"I can't believe this is happening."
With $200,000 set to hit his bank account on Christmas Day, the winning man shared it felt like the ultimate present.
"That's an easy date to remember! Wow, what a Christmas we're going to have," he said.
"It's going to take a big chunk out of our mortgage.
"We'll be going out tonight to celebrate with some spicy Asian food. It's our favourite."
His winning entry of one random number was purchased via The Lott app - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
