Heavy rainfall recorded overnight Thursday has resulted river rises in the Waterhouse River where moderate flooding is occurring. A moderate peak is expected at Beswick Bridge during Friday morning.

Moderate flooding is occurring along the Waterhouse River
The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is currently at 8.19 m and rising, with moderate flooding. The Waterhouse River at Beswick Bridge is expected to peak near 8.30 m Friday morning, with moderate flooding.
Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.Check the ABC and local media for updates.
