Bayside Council will write to Transport for NSW (TfNSW) seeking their support and interest in improving the intersection of Bexley and Slade Roads at Bexley North.
Bexley Road is a State Road and the intersection with Shaw Street and Slade Road is managed by traffic signals under the control of TfNSW.
This proposal could see Council collaborate closely with TfNSW to investigate and explore opportunities to widen the intersection of Bexley Road and Slade Road, Bexley North, including the provision of an additional dedicated right turn lane from Bexley Road into Slade Road.
