Biden Sends Delegation to Kuwait Following Sheikh Nawaf's Death

President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. today announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to the Kuwait City, Kuwait, to pay respects upon the death of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, on December 17, 2023.

The Honorable Lloyd J. Austin III, United States Secretary of Defense, will lead the delegation.
